Pauline Boudy, Mathieu Maldes

Both born in 1992, Pauline Boudy and Mathieu Maldes met at the université Toulouse II Jean Jaurès whilst studying for a « Master Design Transdisciplinaire Cultures et Territoires ». Together they discovered a common philosophy, considering metaphysics as a possible approach to design. Their investigations thus led them to consider, beyond the material dimension of the « project », a sensitive, impermanent and spiritual dimension, via the link established between man and object. Design, when understood as a methodological tool, enables them to sketch out relationships with the world, with life experience, in a constant quest for an end result which is at once poetic and existential, in which man finds meaning in movement.
