REDDOT is a prize which recognises products of all categories which are remarkable in terms of their design. There is a distinction between the ‘prix point rouge' and the ‘prix point rouge – best of the best'.


Aiming to recognise and promote French design in the field of furniture and furnishings (furniture, lighting, tableware, decorative accessories, rugs, covering materials) both in France and abroad. ‘Labels VIA' are awarded to products or collections which are the result of a collaboration between a French manufacturer and designer. Qualifying products are launched onto the market in a pertinent and original fashion and demonstrate an innovative approach in terms of materials, technology, function and/or style. The IF Product Design Award is an award bestowed by the jury (essentially composed of international designers) of IF International Forum Design GmbH, based in Hanover. Established in 1954, it is one of the very highest accolades in the field of German design, and also internationally.
