Yes, for design that shakes things up!
Faithful to tradition by nature, Cinna is asking you this year to imagine a design without wood or metal, a 100% textile design.
It’s the Cinna 2026 competition, and it’s time to unleash your fresh ideas – and not just on the rug!
Explore textiles in all their dimensions: shapes, colors, materials, and functions. Beyond the classic throws, cushions, and rugs, the competition embraces a broader range of textile objects: bedding, curtains, soft partitions, textile seating…
Participants are invited to explore the role of textiles in contemporary living spaces through a creative and responsible approach, emphasizing environmental respect and prioritizing natural, recycled, or bio-based fibers, innovative textures, and short supply chains.
The Cinna competition thus rewards a committed design approach, where innovation and sustainability combine to create meaningful objects that are respectful of the environment and the needs of tomorrow.
Each project can fall into one of the following five categories:
Applications must be sent to the following address: CINNA - Concours Révélateur de Talents - BP 1 - 01470 BRIORD - FRANCE
Deadline for submission of applications: 19th December 2025 (despatch date, the postmark being proof).
The 19th Cinna Competition will be launched in September 2025.
After the application deadline, the selection committee will review the submissions and shortlist around 30 projects, which will then be published on marieclaire.fr for the public vote, scheduled from January 19 to February 9, 2026 (dates to be confirmed).
In March 2026, the jury will convene to examine the projects and finalize its selection.
The selection panel will meet at the closing date for applications. They will study them and select around 30.
During a plenary meeting in March 2026, the jury will designate the 3 winners. The designers awarded by the Jury will receive:
This jury will be composed of Michel Roset, editors-in-chief of the main decor magazines, recognized designers and personalities, and influencers.
The Public Prize allows the public to vote for a project. To this end, the 30 projects selected by the Selection Committee will be submitted to a public vote on the website of our partner, Marie Claire Maison.
The winner of the Public Prize will receive €2,000.
In addition, the Public Prize will include, through a random draw organized by marieclaire.fr, three items from the Cinna collection.
The results will be announced at an award ceremony in Paris in June 2026 and published by partner media outlets.
Beyond the prize itself, the winners will gain press visibility through press releases, features, and interviews.
Cinna may also produce the selected projects and include them in its catalog, thus offering creators a genuine opportunity to launch their designs.
