Philippine Lemaire was born in Saint-Etienne in 1984. After spending time at the ESADSE in Saint-Etienne, she graduated from the ESAD, Reims in 2008. Since then she has been working on a freelance basis, either alone or with a colleague. She divides her time between designing objects and furniture, scenography and interior arrangement. Scrutinizing our contemporary lifestyles, she tries to adopt a sensitive approach to each one of her projects. A material, a function or a production method are just some of the starting points in terms of project development. Today she works with a range of manufacturers such as the Faïencerie de Gien or the Cristalleries de Saint-Louis.
