Conceived to adapt to any space, the collection sets itself apart by the use of fine walnut or ash veneers, subtly grooved throughout, for a tactile and timeless elegance.
Selvans combines artisanal expertise with technical requirements. Its fronts and sides are composed of thin panels covered with several layers of veneer, then finished with precisely crafted American walnut or ash veneer. The grooved surface gives each piece of furniture a distinctive texture, highlighting the attention paid to every detail.
The interior, handles, and legs are finished in chocolate lacquer for an elegant and cohesive look.

Selvans is the result of exceptional craftsmanship, made in France. Each piece combines technical precision and aesthetic sensibility. The veneer work, grooving, and assembly are carried out meticulously by skilled artisans, guaranteeing lasting quality and unique elegance. Selvans embodies the alliance of contemporary design and French artisanal heritage, with a strong identity rooted in the furniture tradition of the Ain region.
Christian Werner, a German designer born in 1959 and based in Hamburg, has run his own industrial design studio since 1992. After studying in Berlin and Hamburg, he established himself in contemporary furniture design by creating numerous iconic pieces. Creator of the Selvans range, he also designed the Prado settee and the Everywhere cabinet range, demonstrating his unique approach that combines innovation, elegance, and technical mastery.
